🌸 Yoga Teacher Highlight: Katarina Holmgren, M.Div., RYT 200
We are delighted to shine a spotlight on one of our teachers, Katarina Holmgren—a gifted yoga instructor whose journey began with an unexpected connection between voice and movement.
Katarina first came to yoga to support her singing, seeking more ease and freedom in her voice. What she discovered was so much more: yoga transformed not only her singing, but her entire life, offering balance, peace, and a deeper sense of presence both on and off the mat.
Her teaching style reflects this journey. Katarina guides her students toward finding ease, groundedness, and freedom of movement—qualities that naturally extend beyond yoga practice and into everyday life.
Katarina completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Back Bay Yoga Studio in Boston in 2014 and has been teaching since 2015. With a warm and compassionate approach, she creates a supportive space for students of all levels.
Outside the studio, Katarina serves as a hospital chaplain, offering interfaith spiritual and emotional support in Women’s Health and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She is also a proud mother, often practicing yoga alongside her children and sharing the joy of mindful movement with them.

Join Katarina for Warm Vinyasa Flow KH, Thursdays, 5:45pm Thursdays at Brownstone!

We love you Katarina! So happy you are here at Brownstone.🤎
