Intuitive Fascia Release
with Cheri Koons, LMT, RN-BSN, CLT
Service Description
This service combines slow, therapeutic myofascial release techniques with a highly individualized, intuitive approach to help the body unwind patterns of tension and restriction. Fascia is the three-dimensional connective tissue that surrounds every muscle, nerve, and organ. When fascia becomes tight due to injury, stress, repetitive strain, or poor posture, it can contribute to pain, stiffness, limited mobility, and chronic holding patterns. During this session, the practitioner uses sustained, gentle pressure (without oils) to work directly with the fascial system. Rather than following a fixed routine, the session is guided by the body’s responses, allowing areas of restriction to gradually soften and lengthen. This service may include: Modified myofascial release techniques using slow, sustained pressure Intuitive bodywork guided by the body’s tissue response Somatic unwinding, allowing natural movements to release bracing patterns Gentle nervous-system regulation to reduce guarding and tension Because this work is slow and precise, it can reach deeper layers of connective tissue and help the body release patterns that may not respond to traditional massage. Possible benefits include: Improved mobility and flexibility Reduced pain and tension Better posture and movement patterns Increased body awareness A deep sense of relaxation and nervous-system reset This session is especially helpful for those with chronic tightness, old injuries, stress-related tension, or feeling “stuck” in their body.
Cancellation Policy
24-Hour Cancellation Policy At Brownstone, we kindly require at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment changes or cancellations. This policy allows our independent practitioners the opportunity to adjust their schedules and offer availability to other clients. Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment) or missed appointments may result in a full service charge, especially if the practitioner has already traveled, set up, or is unable to fill the appointment slot on short notice. Each practitioner at Brownstone is an independent contractor and determines how they apply this policy. Exceptions may be made at their discretion based on individual circumstances and notice given. To support our team and minimize no-shows, we now require a credit card on file when booking. We appreciate your understanding and support of our small business and the dedicated professionals who care for you.
