Adrienne Mohn - CLT, LMT, SMC-CEI

Manual Lymphatic Drainage & Neurolymphatic Support

Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) • MLD-C • Wellness & Inflammation Support

Adrienne is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) and Manual Lymphatic Drainage–Certified (MLD-C) practitioner trained to work with clients who have lymphedema. While she is fully qualified to provide lymphedema care, her primary passion and specialty is using lymphatic-based therapy for general wellness, prevention, and whole-body support — especially for clients looking to reduce systemic inflammation, improve fluid movement, and support the body’s natural detox and recovery pathways.

Her Approach

The lymphatic system plays a major role in:

  • Immune function

  • Inflammation regulation

  • Fluid balance

  • Tissue healing and repair

  • Detoxification and metabolic waste removal

  • Nervous system regulation and stress resilience

Because of this, lymphatic therapy can be beneficial not only for lymphedema — but also for people experiencing:

  • Chronic inflammation

  • Autoimmune or inflammatory conditions

  • Bloating and fluid retention

  • Post-surgical swelling and scar tissue restriction

  • General sluggishness, heaviness, or fatigue

  • Stress-related nervous system overload

Lymphatic Training & Certifications

Her lymphatic training includes both traditional lymphedema education and advanced neurolymphatic concepts.

  • She completed my MLD-C training through ILWTI

  • She then attended Monarch Continuing Education, training under Carmen Recupero, where she became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT)

  • She continued advanced education through Monarch’s Neurolymphatic program

  • She also pursued further training in lipedema and related lymphatic dysfunction

Her education includes both classic lymphatic techniques and modern insights into how the lymphatic system interacts with the nervous system, fascia, and inflammation.

Neurolymphatic Drainage (NLD) — Her Specialty

She is especially passionate about Neurolymphatic Drainage, a newer, highly integrative approach that supports lymphatic flow by working with:

  • The nervous system

  • Tissue tension patterns

  • Scar restrictions

  • Autonomic regulation

  • Breath mechanics and core pressure systems

This is why her sessions often feel different from “standard lymphatic massage.” They are designed not only to move fluid — but to help the body become more capable of moving fluid on its own.

How Clinical Somatics Supports Lymph Drainage

One of the most unique parts of her work is how she incorporates Clinical Somatics into lymphatic support.

Clinical Somatics helps by:

  • Downregulating the stress response (sympathetic overdrive)

  • Improving ribcage and diaphragm mobility (which strongly affects lymph return)

  • Reducing chronic muscle guarding that compresses lymph vessels

  • Improving posture and fascial glide so fluid can move more freely

  • Supporting vagal tone and parasympathetic recovery

When the nervous system is stuck in “fight-or-flight,” lymph flow often becomes sluggish. Somatics helps restore safety and internal regulation, which can make lymphatic work more effective and longer-lasting.

Integrated Tools & Modalities

Depending on your goals, your session may include supportive modalities that enhance lymph flow, reduce inflammation, and improve nervous system regulation, such as:

  • Full Spectrum Sauna (heat + circulation support)

  • PEMF Therapy

  • Vibration Plate

  • Custom lymph-support topical oils

  • Cupping + Gua Sha + Essential OIls

  • Warm + Cool Stones + Facial Tools

  • Dolphin Neurostim microcurrent for scar tissue release, tension points, acupoints, and nervous system downregulation

  • Neuropathic lymphatic movement patterns

  • Craniosacral elements when appropriate

  • Light massage therapy  + myofascial techniques to support relaxation and tissue recovery

Each session is customized — some clients need primarily lymphatic drainage, others need a more nervous-system-forward approach, and many benefit from both.

A Whole-Body Wellness Session — Not “One Modality”

Her goal is to create sessions that support your body as a complete system: lymph + nervous system + fascia + inflammation + recovery.

Whether you are seeking help for lymphedema, lipedema concerns, post-surgical swelling, or general wellness and prevention, we’ll tailor a plan that fits your body and your goals.
