Service Description

Pregnancy is a profound and transformative time. This class offers a sanctuary where you can pause and tune into the wisdom of your body. Guided by the breath, we will explore gentle, rhythmic yoga that invites you to release tension and trust your intuition. This is not just about stretching; it is an invitation to connect with the innate wisdom of your body. There will also be space for reflection and sharing. Nelly is a second-generation Palestinian-American yoga teacher and healing arts practitioner learning how to bloom where she has been planted. She finds refuge and regulation through yoga therapy, song, dance, and drumming, and seeks reminders of truth and wisdom from the land and her ancestors. Her path has carried her through several seasons living in her motherland and into deep study of birth, women’s wellness, and embodied healing. She has trained with traditional comadronas (midwives) in Guatemala through a Mayan Midwifery Immersion, grounding her work in ancestral knowledge, intuition, and reverence for the body’s innate intelligence. Nelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Penn State and completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Create Karma. She is also trained in Prenatal Yoga and Doula support (85 hours) through Awakened Birth, has completed DONA Doula Training, and holds an 200-hour certification in Yoni Shakti Well Woman Yoga Therapy through the Yoga Nidra Network with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli. She brings experience working with children and adolescents through several years of substitute teaching, alongside her therapeutic yoga training. As a practitioner of the healing arts, Nelly encourages intuition led by the teacher within, offering classes that create space for deep listening, embodiment, and reconnection to the body’s natural rhythms.
