November 30 at 11am - approximately 20 minutes Experience a complimentary mini class designed to introduce you to Beginner Yoga with Sonnya Nieves, RYT 500 and give you a feel for what this practice is all about! Perfect for everyone! - Sample the flow and style of the session - Learn what to expect from a full class - Ask questions and meet Sonnya - Connect with the Brownstone community What to Bring: Bring a yoga mat -- or borrow one from us! Sonnya Nieves, RYT 500 has been practicing yoga for 20 years and teaching since 2016. Her love for the practice stems from the introspection and self-study that can be cultivated through movement and noticing. She loves creating space for exploration of body, mind and breath, and opportunities for deep relaxation. In addition to her 500-hour certification, Sonnya has certificates in teaching Yin yoga, restorative yoga, tween/teen yoga, and yoga for mental health. Sonnya also holds a master’s degree and clinical licensure in social work and has experience working with trauma and mental health conditions.
