Myofascial Bodywork Release Series
A three-session bodywork protocol for tension that keeps coming back — with Adrienne Mohn, LMT, CLT
Service Description
Some tension doesn't release in a single session — not because the work isn't working, but because the tissue itself has changed. When the connective tissue layers that let your muscles glide become thickened and less mobile, one visit softens them; a short, consistent series is what helps them truly change. The Fascial Release Series is three focused 45-minute sessions over three weeks, each built around sustained, specific work on the same restricted areas. It's designed for the tension that keeps returning — the stiff neck, the shoulder that never fully lets go, the low back that tightens by mid-week. Your three sessions: • Week 1 — Map & mobilize: we assess how your tissue is moving and begin the work. • Week 2 — Deepen: we return to the same areas while the tissue is still responsive. • Week 3 — Integrate: we work the areas a final time and send you home with self-care to protect the results. This is deliberate, methodical work — not a spa relaxation massage, though most people find it deeply settling. Why three sessions, a week apart? This structure reflects how fascial tissue actually changes — gradually, with consistency. Research on fascial manipulation for myofascial pain has used a comparable cadence of three treatments at roughly weekly intervals, and the underlying science is well established: pain and stiffness are associated with "densification," a thickening of the hyaluronan-rich layer between fascial planes, and focused manual work helps restore healthy glide. This series is built on that research-informed approach. References available on request — including for your physician or physical therapist. The series is purchased as a prepaid package of three sessions. Optional add-on — Release + Flush: Each session can be extended with 30 minutes of manual lymphatic drainage. The deeper fascial work mobilizes tissue and raises local fluid activity; the light, rhythmic drainage that follows helps clear it, and many people find it eases next-day soreness and leaves them profoundly relaxed. Please note: Because this is sustained, specific work, it isn't the right starting point for everyone. If you're managing lymphedema, are in active treatment for certain conditions, or are recently post-surgical, please reach out before booking so we can point you to the best fit.
Cancellation Policy
24-Hour Cancellation Policy. Must call and leave message at minimum 24 hours prior to the appointment time. Or you can cancel the appointment yourself by logging into your account and managing your appointments. Do not reply to appointment confirmations and reminders via email or text. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to ensure there is enough time for intake prior to your start time. At Brownstone, we kindly require at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment changes or cancellations. This policy allows our independent practitioners the opportunity to adjust their schedules and offer availability to other clients. Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment) or missed appointments may result in a full service charge, especially if the practitioner has already traveled, set up, or is unable to fill the appointment slot on short notice. Each practitioner at Brownstone is an independent contractor and determines how they apply this policy. Exceptions may be made at their discretion based on individual circumstances and notice given. To support our team and minimize no-shows, we now require a credit card on file when booking. We appreciate your understanding and support of our small business and the dedicated professionals who care for you.
