Post Partum Massage
9am - 3pm
In this class, Postpartum Massage – Caring for your clients after the pregnancy, you will learn a great deal about the Postpartum period. Many classes focus on Prenatal care, but this class will delve into the Postpartum body and stages. You will learn how to safely massage postpartum clients while making them comfortable and relaxed. You will learn how to recognize postpartum contraindications and conditions that may affect some clients. You will learn how the postpartum period can affect women physically, emotionally and psychologically. We will practice positioning as well (clothed). Please bring a set of twin sheets, 2 pillows and writing materials.
